Yes—the custom brief can start with an idea instead of a model. Before production, agree the design scope, price, and ownership of any resulting files.
02Which 3D files can I prepare?
STL, 3MF, OBJ, STEP, and STP are useful starting points for this local brief. A production partner may use different formats, transfer methods, and file-size limits, so confirm those before sharing.
03How is a custom print priced?
A responsible quote considers model preparation, material, machine time, supports, finishing, assembly, failed-print allowance, and delivery. That is why price follows a clear specification instead of a one-field calculator.
04Will the colour match my screen?
Screens and physical filament or resin do not match perfectly. A real order should use approved material samples or an explicit colour-tolerance agreement when colour is critical.
05Can every shape be printed?
Not unchanged. Wall thickness, overhangs, trapped supports, tolerances, moving joints, and orientation can require revisions. The risky feature should be reviewed and tested first.
06What happens to my design file?
On this site, the file stays in your browser and only its name, type, and size appear in the prepared brief. Before sharing it for production, agree retention, deletion, confidentiality, and design-rights terms.
